I was born in Japan and moved to the United States during college to explore my passion for Psychology. I completed a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center in Oahu, Hawai'i. I am working at Kaiser Permanente as a Clinical Psychologist and I am currently accepting new patients through my private practice. I am licensed in both Hawaii and California and will be accepting new patients in California soon (Inquire about waitlist options). Because of my unique background, I am fully fluent in Japanese and English and support clients in both languages. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and learn more about you and your unique goals for therapy during our time together.

I earned a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from CSPP San Diego. Throughout my program, I worked with adults with diverse backgrounds including Pan Asians with severe and co-occurring diagnoses.

I received my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University where I completed my thesis on Happiness in Relation to Culture. I provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders at Autism Learning Partners.
