I was born in Japan and moved to the United States during college to pursue my passion for psychology. I completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center on Oahu, Hawai'i. Following my time as a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, I opened my private practice where I am currently welcoming new patients. I am licensed in both Hawaii and California, with California services opening soon (please inquire about my waitlist). Given my unique background, I am fully fluent in Japanese and English and am honored to support clients in both languages. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you in your unique journey toward healing and growth.

I earned a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from CSPP San Diego. Throughout my program, I worked with adults with diverse backgrounds including Pan Asians with severe and co-occurring diagnoses.

I received my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University where I completed my thesis on Happiness in Relation to Culture. I provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders at Autism Learning Partners.
